Alpha Wire FIT-221 Heat Shrink Tubing
The FIT-221 range of heat-shrink tubing offers a reliable way to protect and seal electrical terminations or add extra durability to a cable.
The FIT range of heat shrinkable tubing is made from premium materials under tight manufacturing conditions. This means that FIT heat-shrink tubing has excellent physical characteristics such as wide temperature ranges and low longitudinal shrinkage.
Note
For a secure fit, it is necessary that the tubing's recovered diameter (the diameter after shrinkage) is smaller than the diameter of the area to be insulated. At the same time, the tubing's expanded diameter (the diameter before shrinkage) needs to be large enough to fit easily over the area to be insulated, as well as any connectors attached to it.
