Trident Neptune Cable Connectors with Metal Coupling Ring
From ITT Cannon, the Trident connector system is designed for use in harsh environments. With membrane wire seals and a strong metal coupling ring, this connector is ideal for use in outdoor electronics and automobile applications.
Note
Cable mount plugs only mate with panel sockets and cable mount sockets only mate with panel plugs. Plugs accept pin contacts, Sockets accept socket contacts.
Neptune
Based on Trident Ringlok series, the Neptune range combines power and signal contacts. Widely used in automotive, marine and process control industries, they feature a strong bayonet coupling system with standard and reversed pin/socket combinations. A wide selection of backshell accessories, rear housings and dust caps are available.,To maintain IP67 rating the rear of the connectors have a rubber seal which is pierced upon contact insertion. The seal is held in place by a screw ring (as supplied) which may be replaced with the appropriate size backshell. For IP67 rating to be maintained, wire insulation diameters should be within the following diameters: Signal wires: 1.7 to 2.7mm, Power wires : 2.7 to 4.0mm.,Number of contacts shown as power/signal eg 2//13.
