The BK8540 DC electronic load is a compact, economically priced instrument equally well-suited for use on bench and production floor. Although it comes in a small package, the BK8540 can reliably test a 5 volt power supply to 30 amps and do it continuously. The load can operate in CC, CV or CR mode while voltage/current or resistance/power values are measured and displayed in real time, offering the flexibility to test a variety of DC power sources. The BK8540 performance is comparable to that of most full size bench DC electronic loads, but it can do the job at lower cost and takes up less space.

Programmable Electronic DC loads EL 9000 T Series 400 W – 600 W

The new EA-EL 9000 T series of compact electronic DC loads offers three tower models for the daily application in research laboratories and even schools. Lower power ratings allow for a multitude of test applications while being cost effective and space saving. All models support the four regulation modes constant voltage (CV), constant current (CC), constant power (CP) and constant resistance (CR).
The core of the control circuit is a fast microprocessor which provides interesting features. Such as a true function generator with common functions like sine wave, rectangle or triangle, but also an arbitrary function. The colour TFT touch panel offers an intuitive manual operation, like it is prolific with smartphones or tablet computers. Response times during the control of the devices via analogue or digital interface improved by an ARM processor controlled hardware, compared to older electronic load series.

EA-EL 9000B Series 3U Electronic Loads with Multi-function Controller

EA-EL 9000B Series 19″ 3U conventional electronic loads are adjustable and programmable. They come equipped with a high performance FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) controller with 16-bit resolution. EA-EL 9000B features include a flexible DC input range for use at high voltage or high current as required, within the nominal power rating. The TFT touch panel has an easy-to-operate intuitive menu structure. This integrates multiple functions such as a function generator with default wave forms (e.g. sinus, square, trapezoidal, ramp, arbitrary), memory, alarm manager and user profiles. It displays U/I/R/P values with 4-digit resolution. The DC input is highly stable and filtered with 0…100% adjustable parameters, very dynamic (30μs) and generates no ripple (FET linear technology). For external automated control, 9000B models have an on-board isolated 0-5V/0-10V analog and USB interface. An intelligent plug’n play slot allows retrofitting optionally-available interface modules such as CANopen, Ethernet, Profibus and Modbus. EA-EL 9000B is an excellent choice for demanding load testing, to provide for reproducible test data, and is suitable for automated system integration to form heavy-duty load banks.
