1.25mm Fibre Optic Sleeve Swabs

Specifically designed for all 1.25mm fibre optic mating sleeves, adaptors and ferrule polishing fixtures, these 152mm long swabs may be used wet or dry in conjunction with Electro-Wash® PX (see Stock no. 298-7707) or CZ (see Stock no. 329-2628).

Also useful to remove slurry from 1.25mm ferrule polishing fixtures

1mm V-Groove & Ferrule Cleaning Swab

This 1mm V-Groove and Ferrule Cleaning swab from ITW Chemtronics is the flattest, thinnest swab available and is ideal for small precision surfaces.

Designed specifically for V-groove cleaning in fusion splice equipment

Self-Contained Fibre Cleaner

A hand held fibre connector cleaner designed to remove fine particles from the optical faces of fibre connectors. Unlike regular cloths which may just move dust and oils across a surface, the polyester tape employed, made from minute strands, will absorb all contaminants.

A thumb activated, spring loaded window mechanism exposes a fresh section of tape with each actuation
Two elongated slots in the window allow a thorough double wipe of a connector end face
A side window indicates how much tape is left in the cleaner

The cleaner will give 400 wipe applications.

SWA Safewash 2000

The original Safewash (SWA) is ideal for removing flux residues and many other cleaning applications which do not contain sensitive metals. Can be used prior to plating operations as a micro etching process.
