FASTON 250 series quick connect Tab-Lok flag receptacle terminals that offer speed of application and uniform reliability. Experience over widespread segments of industry has proved this crimp to be the most effective way of assuring stable electrical and mechanical performance. Flag receptacles have a right angle connection to the tab terminals making them ideal for use in applications where space is an important factor. These FASTON 250 series flag terminals have a Tab-Lok feature consisting of a tab that is inserted into a corresponding Tab-Lok or slot on the terminal. The Tab-Lok is then crimped between the bottom of the terminal and a pair of locking lances for a secure connection. The Tab-Lok system provides a reliable electrical connection and improves mechanical performance. Each FASTON flag terminal has precisely controlled crimping specifications which allow all connections to perform as specified. For the optimum combination of mechanical strength and electrical conductivity these FASTON 250 flag terminals are applied to the conductor using the match-mated application crimp tooling which can be purchased separately. The “F” style crimp terminations offer precise tensile strength and conductivity that will last the life of the circuit. This method of termination also offers maximum resistance to vibration and corrosion.

These PIDG insulated Faston 250 quick disconnect flag receptacle wire crimp terminals are available with different barrel lengths and diameters to accept various wire sizes.

FASTON 187 series Ultra-Fast fully insulated flag style receptacle crimp terminals designed to prevent shock and electrical short circuits from exposed leads. The housings of these FASTON 187 series Ultra-Fast flag style receptacle crimp terminals are made from UL 94 V-2 type 6/6 nylon which completely enclose a tin plated copper alloy FASTON flag receptacle contact which is recessed within the housing to allow its use in 600V applications. These FASTON 187 series Ultra-fast crimp terminals terminate 26-10 AWG stranded wire, the wire size and tab size designation are indicated on the housing. Slots in the housing membrane enable shouldered tab styles to be accommodated. The inner housing of these FASTON 187 series Ultra-Fast flag receptacle crimp terminals along with a two-stage roll configuration and a cantilever mounted dimple on the flag receptacle terminal provide positive entry and lead-in of the mating tab contact even in blind mating locations.
