Hirose HR22 series compact circular connectors were developed for use between machine tool motors and associated operation panels. These compact 20 pin circular connectors are waterproof and feature a screw coupling locking mechanism to prevent accidental unlocking due to vibration.
Based on the successful and popular standard CPC series, these fully sealed IP67 power connectors 4 or 9 way, utilise precision-formed contacts that offer a rating of up to 7A for single contacts, in isolation. Manufactured from high strength, impact resistant thermoplastic. Ideally suited to industrial, instrumentation and transportation applications where size, contact density and environmental exposure are primary concerns.

A compact range of free cable plugs (9·5mm dia.) which mate with either panel mount or PCB mount sockets, all incorporating PEEK insulating material. Free plugs and panel sockets contain solder bucket contacts. Cable plugs will mate with Chassis, PCB or cable sockets. The cable plugs and sockets are supplied with a large collet for cable ODs up to 5mm and are fitted with strain relief back nuts. Smaller collets and black strain relief boots are available separately. They are ideal for instrumentation, medical and nuclear applications, plus many other special industry requirements.
