LKM 261 Digital Programmable Measuring Transducer

The LKM 261 is a digital programmable measuring transducer intended for mounting on a standard rail. The transducer can be programmed for different thermocouples according to DIN EN 60584-3. The LKM 261 converts the temperature dependent thermoelectric voltage of the sensors into a standard signal which ranges from 4 to 20mA. The temperature compensation is effected within the measuring transducer. The transducer can be programmed by using the universal interface type LKM S1 which is available from RS. An adjusting controller allows immediate minor display corrections

3000 Series – Temperature Converter

PR Electronics 3000 series temperature transmitters offer reliable and accurate conversion of industry process temperature signals to analogue or digital outputs. The easy DIP-switch set-up allows for more than 1000 different pre-calibrated temperature range combinations. The 3000 series are compact, fast, and easy to use. With a slim 6 mm housing that offers exceptional performance and EMC immunity for dedicated applications.
Designed and rated to operate between -25 ˚C to +70 ˚C, making these devices a good choice in applications where the ambient temperature changes greatly, for example in control panels mounted in outdoor locations. These transmitters have a low temperature coefficient achieving precise measurements, even when the panel is exposed to wide variations in ambient temperature. You can continue to rely on the output signal, with no need to re-calibrate your device.

DIP-Switch Programming

Re-calibration is not needed after changing the DIP-switch range settings. Just change the DIP-switch, cycle the power to the unit and obtain the new, pre-calibrated I/O range. HART programming is enabled for selected devices.

Mounting

Devices can be mounted both vertically and horizontally with no air gap separation required. The devices snap onto a power rail or DIN rail and are easily detached by lifting the bottom lock.

High Level of Isolation

Safe galvanic isolation of 2.5 kVAC provides high noise immunity and prevents ground loops for accurate delivery of the process signal to your control system.

Device Status Indicators

A front LED indicates device status, e.g. an error in the set-up, sensor or hardware.

Over Voltage and Polarity Protection

All terminals can withstand up to ±31.2 VDC and are protected against incorrect supply wiring to ensure safe, error-free installation.
