From RawlPlug this is the SM Interset, zinc plated, Cavity wall plug fixings providing you a wall plug fixing with permanent anchor fixing with cavity walls. You can install the cavity wall plug fixing using the AT Fixing stool which is suitable for all Interset wall plug fixings (stock number 0528362) or use pliers. The Wall plug fixings are supplied with a combination head screw and they can be removed from the plasterboard wall and re-fitted as required and are suitable for all board building material with a thickness of 2 mm to 28 mm allowing the SM Interset wall fixings to be used for various applications. You are provided with a wall fixing -that is secure due to the hinged legs giving maximum load bearing plus the integral thread and flange adding extra assurance complete with the anti-rotation lugs.

  • Drill a hole ensuring it is the correct diameter needed for the job.

  • Insert the wall plug fixing into the drilled hole.

  • Gently, using a hammer, tap the wall fixing into the drilled hole plus ensure the fitted anti-rotation lugs on the fixing penetrates the wall.

  • When the fixing is inserted into the drilled hole you then use the AT Setting Tool to pull the screw head and this will expand the fixings body providing a secure installation.
