RS PRO Adhesive PUR Soundproofing Foam

Soundproofing and noise level reduction is a necessity in today’s demanding world; therefore, it is even more crucial to find the right acoustic Foam, which might be a bit of a challenge.

To help you out and reduce the time for researching, we are here to discover the perfect fit for your project.

We are proudly introducing our own branded RS PRO Self-Adhesive PUR Soundproofing Foam showing durability and outstanding sound-absorbing qualities.

Our Foam is chemically inert, non-dusting and flexibility help to cut it to the exact shape you need.

Suppose you want to control the acoustic level. In that case, RS PRO Self-Adhesive PUR Foam with dimensions of 1000 mm x 600 mm x 28 mm coming in a pack of 2 will assist in reducing reverberation, reflection and flutter echoes.

Whenever you are looking for professional quality at the competitive price range, we are here to help you with acoustic treatment to complete your small or big projects.

The thickness of 28 mm with 1 m long Foam with outstanding operating temperature parameters of -20°C up to +130°C is offering protection for the ingress of dust, moisture and chemicals to withstand unfavourable weather conditions.

The insulation Foam enhances the acoustic performance within a room and often is being used to secure attachment to machinery and equipment.

Features and Benefits

  • Flexible 28 mm Foam layer provides an outstanding operating temperature ranging from -20°C up to +130°C, making and ideal for harsh environments

  • The Foam reduces sound transmission and decreases vibration

  • High mass noise barrier

  • The density of 25-28 kg/m3

  • The adhesive PVC Foam size of 1000 mm x 600 mm x 28 mm

Applications

Backing film for porous materials to allow vacuum forming as facing material in direct moulding application and as meeting material in hostile environments. Good resistance to soiling, penetration of liquids and degradation used as protective backing to Elastome/Foam materials to avoid water ingress.

Typical usage includes:

  • reducing noise level for machines in production lines, warehouses, garages, workshops etc.

  • Automotive

  • Marine

  • Aerospace

  • HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)

  • OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)

  • Ductwork lining

  • Sound reduction panel in generators, boats, cars, off-road vehicles, process plant and electrical equipment

Thanks to the versatility of the Foam, you can use the material indoor and outdoor applications.

Fill Materials

Polyurethane foam (Density 25//28 kg/m3) absorbs sound across a broad frequency range. The right basic solution for all reflected and reverberated noise. Suitable as bearing Foam for interior trim and seating applications. Typical uses: panels around machinery engine rooms and close fit canopies.

Non-combustible polyurethane foam (Density 75 kg/m3) – as above, but for use in high-risk fire areas.

Polyester fibre (Density 30 kg/m3) – excellent acoustic absorption combined with good thermal insulation properties.

Facing Materials

Aluminised film – metalised polyester film for oxygen and moisture barrier. Typical uses: pump enclosures and engine room.

Black polyurethane film – offers high abrasion resistance, flexibility, resistance to oils, gases and solvents. Good resistance to weather/radiation energy and liquids. Protective backing to elastomers/foams to stop the ingress of dust and soiling.

Tedlar® – a polyvinyl fluoride is facing resistant to chemicals, solvents and staining, which is flexible, with an outstanding temperature range of -73°C to +107°C. Suitable for very hostile conditions.
